The Panini Contenders series provided a lot of parallels and variants, including this Sepia-toned version of the Cracked Ice series. While this card might not be as rare as the #301A version of the card you’ll see further up the list, there are Cardbase records showing that it has sold in the same price range, close to $5,000. That’s no longer the case now, as current pricing is about $1,200 for a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint copy. There’s still an autograph on it and it’s a classically beautiful card with the sepia-tone capturing the look of a bygone era. It’s a good pickup for your collection if you can find one on the lower end of this significant price range.

### 11. 2016 Panini Contenders Super Bowl Ticket Jared Goff Rookie Autograph 1/1 #341
While we can’t promise this one will be easy to get, it’s a card that did predict the future. While Jared Goff may have had a rough rookie season, he did manage to get to the Super Bowl with the L.A. Rams. I guess there’s something to these early predictions of success for rookies shooting for a Super Bowl berth. The design stays true to the ticket format, which keeps the design clean even as it lacks some of the premium feel of most limited-edition Panini cards.

This Jared Goff rookie card set a record price back in February 2018 by selling for $3,306, it is now listed for over $27,000 on eBay. That’s quite a leap in price but since it is a single-card issue and Goff did get his Super Bowl appearance, it might just command a significantly higher price.

Despite the broad availability, this card has built some value. A PSA 10 Gem Mint example sold in August 2023 for a best offer on a $3,500 auction. We can expect that this could signal higher prices for unlimited Jared Goff rookie cards now that Goff is firmly ensconced on his new team and excelling there.

That would be a record for this series, which isn’t as popular as some other Panini series, but we just might see that change with the demand increasing.

How about another 1 of 1 Jared Goff card to dream about? This flashy and cool NFL Shield Playbook from Jared Goff’s rookie year has so many things making it special. In addition to the patches included on the booklet, there’s a signature from Goff, and a couple of excellent photos to go along with a description that he might be a new “King of LA” kind of player. That didn’t work out in the end, but this is still an amazing keepsake for any Jared Goff card collector.

This single copy sold in July 2023 for $2,495. While this price was for the item without a grading from the likes of PSA or BGS, the authenticity of the collectible is not in question. When this item changes hands again, I would expect a grading and a much higher price to be set once a third-party authenticator has given the collectible its seal of approval.

In addition to a prominent signature up-top, the card has two excellent pictures of Jared Goff and they are effectively placed on the design to add depth and dimension to the card’s appearance. The Flawless line always dazzles us collectors. It’s as if Panini was totally sure Goff would deliver on his early promise and that collectors would be scrambling to grab premium cards featuring the powerful signal caller in the years ahead. 

The card that set the record price of $5,000 is sealed in its “Flawless” case so it isn’t formally graded, but it’s untouched by human hands since it was sealed up. The price paid aligns well with the recent high values of Jared Goff rookie cards, which are definitely recovering from any dip they might have seen when he was sent to the Midwest to help the Detroit Lions turn things around.
